ENDLESHAM HOUSE, London - Wandsworth Borough Council

On this project, we were tasked with securing both planning permission and listed building consent for extensive works to a double-fronted listed Victorian property within the Wandsworth Common Conservation Area.

The proposals were extensive, including the replacement of a timber side extension with a permanent brick structure to provide additional pantry, utility, and pool house space; the removal of fragmented rear additions to create a larger more balanced extension; the enhancement of the front façade with improved boundary treatments; a full internal reconfiguration of the home from basement to second floor levels; and the addition of a new garden outbuilding to complete the garden space.

After a careful and well researched pre-application process, we delivered a thoughtfully crafted scheme that respects the property’s heritage while significantly improving its layout and function.

The project represents a major milestone for this listed home and highlights the team’s skill in guiding complex residential heritage projects to success, alongside Dyer Grimes Architects and Heritage Collective.
